Responsible Gaming

Gambling at PariPesa Tanzania is intended to be an enjoyable form of entertainment. For most players it stays that way — but for some, gambling can become harmful. This page explains the tools available to every registered player, the warning signs to watch for, and where to get independent help if needed. All tools listed here are free to use and take effect immediately upon request.

Player protection tools

All tools are accessible from your account settings or by contacting live support. Changes take effect immediately — there is no waiting period before a limit or exclusion becomes active.

💳 Deposit limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, week or month. Once a limit is set it cannot be increased for 24 hours — decreases take effect immediately. Useful for players who want to control their weekly spend without stopping play entirely.

⏱️ Session time limits

Set a maximum session length in minutes. When the limit is reached you will receive an alert and be logged out automatically. Session limits reset at midnight EAT each day.

❄️ Cooling-off period

Take a break of 1, 7, 14 or 30 days. During a cooling-off period you cannot log in, deposit or place bets. The period cannot be shortened once activated. Your account balance is preserved and available after the period ends.

🚫 Self-exclusion

Request permanent or long-term (6 months to 5 years) self-exclusion by contacting support at support@paripesatanzania.com. Self-exclusion takes effect within 24 hours. Any remaining balance will be refunded to your registered payment method.

📊 Reality check

Enable periodic on-screen reminders showing how long you have been playing and your net result for the session. Available in 15, 30 or 60-minute intervals from account settings.

🔒 Account closure

You can permanently close your account at any time by contacting support. Closed accounts cannot be reopened. Any outstanding balance is returned to your mobile money wallet within 3 business days.
